| For sowing a wide range of tropical orchids, a slight modification of |
| the proven standard medium Knudson C. |

| Instant powder, quantity for desired volume of medium sealed in heavy-duty light-proof |
| plastic bag. To be used immediately after opening. Simple medium preparation: |
| just add the powder to near boiling water, stir to avoid clumping, add water up to final |
| volume, if dispensed into several culture vessels first heat until gelling agent is dissolved, |
| fill into vessels, autoclave and let the medium cool down to be ready for use. | |
