L10031  Knudson C, originial Medium

This is the original orchid propagation medium as published by L. Knudson
in the American Orchid Society Bulletin 14, page 443-445, 1946. Though
the medium lacks important organic components like vitamins and
or vegetable products as well as active compounds like vitamins etc., it
is still an effective germination medium for a wide range of easy to propagate
orchid species and hybrids. For better performance and wider range of
application modern modifications of this medium are recommended.
